Dry-O-Lite, the industry-leading deliquescent desiccant, is a chemical drying agent specifically formulated for Van Air Systems single tower compressed air dryers and natural gas pipeline dryers. Dry-O-Lite is a dense hygroscopic tablet that absorbs water vapor from streams of compressed air or gas. The surface of the desiccant tablet dissolves slowly, forming a brine solution which drops from the surface. The tablet continuously dissolves, or deliquesces, until the desiccant is fully consumed.

In a properly sized D-series Compressed Air Dryer or Pipeline Dryer, Dry-O-Lite will establish a relative humidity of 55%, which equates to a dew point approximately 20°F lower than the temperature of the compressed air or gas at the inlet of the dryer.

AirPrep Systems are designed to cool and dry compressed air used in abrasive blasting equipment. Compressed air enters a pre-filter that removes contaminants and condensed moisture. The air then travels through a fan-cooled radiator, where it is cooled to cause moisture to condense. The cooled air and water droplets flow into a separator tank, where the air expands and causes further condensation. The spinning movement of the air stream separates out the condensed moisture. In the Air Dryer System (ADS), the air rises through a bed of marbles and into deliquescent/dessicant tablets inside the tank before the air exits the vessel. Approximately 50% of residual moisture is removed (after cooling). Removed moisture is collected in the bottom of the separator tank. An after-filter removes particulates that may have become airborne, then used in the abrasive blasting operation. This Air Dryer requires 300lbs of Dessicant Tablets.

The Blast Pak PRO from Van Air Systems is a complete portable single tower deliquescent drying package engineered specifically for blasting and painting contractors. The complete package is conveniently pre-assembled and welded to a forklift skid, allowing for maximum portability in mobile drying applications. Blast Pak PRO dryers are easily lifted onto the back of a truck or trailer and moved around a worksite. The after-cooler, filter and dryer are fully integrated. Just add Dry-O-Lite desiccant, connect compressed air lines and start delivering clean, dry compressed air with no electricity required. This dryer requires 250lb of desiccant tablets.
